Secrets to a Successful Summer Research Internship Application: Part 2 of 4
Christopher Panebianco, Ph.D. (NIH PennPORT Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Boerckel lab of at Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Pennsylvania) will host a unique hands-on workshop that trains undergraduates in the secrets of writing a successful application to summer research programs, with a focus on those at the University of Pennsylvania. Students will walk away with the seeds of a draft for an application that will help them apply to summer programs. A limited burrito dinner will be served!
This event is open to all students and is a part of the 2024 Special Event Series, a four-part initiative specially designed to help Rutgers Camden Undergraduates get into paid Summer Research Internships across the country. It is highly encouraged that students attend all four parts to gain the most out of the experience, but students are certainly invited to any of the events. While these events are aimed at current undergraduates at ALL levels, many of the lessons learned here will apply to graduate students applying to other programs.
